緬甸稻田水產養殖計畫成功邁入第二年 日本國際合作署(JICA)宣佈，為期三年提供緬甸農民在稻田中放養魚苗，養成後轉賣貼補家用的稻田水產養殖計畫已順利邁入第二年。駐緬甸JICA副主任發現，很多參與計畫的農民補貼家用的方式是將15%-30%的魚苗直接送到市場販賣或為晚餐加菜宜蘭民宿。在稻田中養的魚不僅會吃掉13種對稻米收成有害的昆蟲，其排泄物也成為天然的肥料，成功減少殺蟲劑及肥料的支出。自2009年7月開始執行的計畫，不僅以促進農村福利及增加所得為目標，也希望能推動在伊洛瓦底省、勃固省及克倫邦下6鎮18個村落的資源保育工作；今年預定將該計酒店工作畫推廣至上述區域所屬250-300個村落。每英畝的稻田分配1,000尾魚苗，平均存活率為15%至30%；在伊洛瓦底省Yegyi鎮有一個魚苗存活率以32%居冠的稻田。漁業部將配送在計畫第一年存活率最高的tapian及吳郭魚。JICA也有在中國、印度、馬來西亞、印尼、越南、寮國及菲律賓等地資借貸助推廣稻田水產養殖計畫。 （摘譯自INFOFISH Trade News, No. 16/2010） MYANMAR’S SUCCESSFUL AQUACULTURE PROJECT ENTERS SECOND YEARJapan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) has declared the first 12 months of a three-year paddyaquacultureproject in 賣房子Myanmar a success. Under the project, farmers are provided with fish fry, which areraised in paddy fields and later sold for supplementary income.JICA’s deputy chief representative in Myanmar said most farmers participating in the programme 有巢氏房屋exceededJICA’s expectations, with between 15 and 30% of all fish provided to farmers surviving – to make it ontofarmers dinner plate or into markets.Raising fish in paddy fields also reduces pesticide and fertiliser costs. The fish eat nine of 13 九份民宿insects that areknown to have a negative effect on paddy harvests, while their faeces also act as a natural fertiliser.The project, initiated in July 2009 is aimed not only for income generation and rural welfare improvement butalso as resource ARMANIconservation, covering 18 villages in six townships in Ayeyarwady and Bago divisions andKayin State.This year the programme is being expanded to include 250-300 villages in those regions. About 1,000 fish fryare provided for each acre of paddy, and the 網路行銷average survival rate was 15 to 30.One farm in Yegyi township, Ayeyarwady division, had a survival rate of 32%, the best among the participatingfarms.The Fisheries Department will distribute tapian and tilapia, which had the highest survival rates in 住商房屋the first yearof the programme. JICA has also funded similar paddy aquaculture projects in China, India, Malaysia,Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos and the Philippines.
